With a new generation of owners now getting behind the wheel of the IONIQ 5 N, Hyundai will spark even more excitement at the 102nd running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) on June 23, 2024. Two 641-horsepower IONIQ 5 N cars will go after the Electric Production SUV/Crossover record as part of a four-car effort.The drivers of the IONIQ 5 N vehicles going for the Electric Production SUV/Crossover record are Paul Dallenbach and Ron Zaras. Dallenbach is an eleven-time PPIHC winner and set an overall record in 1993. Zaras is a PPIHC rookie and the newest team member. Zaras, a media personality and former Hoonigan executive, was recently chosen to showcase the story of a motorsport enthusiast preparing for this massive challenge of competing at Pikes Peak.In addition, Hyundai will debut a modified specification IONIQ 5 N to compete at PPIHC prior to the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring on May 30. Two of these additional IONIQ 5 N models will be driven by Dani Sordo and Robin Shute. Shute is a four-time overall winner and King of the Mountain title holder at Pikes Peak. Sordo is a Spanish World Rally Championship driver for Hyundai Motorsport.

The Urus Performante delivers 850 Nm of torque at just 2,300 rpm, acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, and a top speed of 306 km/h.For the customers’ premieres of the new Super SUV, Automobili Lamborghini has chosen spectacular and unexpected locations like Stamford Bridge - the stadium of the Chelsea football club, the historic site of the former Rhineland-Palatinate wagon factory Gebrüder Gastell[NG1] , the original Milanese court of the “pelota” game, and the Pavillon Vendôme – that was also the residence of the poet Baudelaire. The pass code for the event: “Raise the Bar”. At all four events, the guests could listen to, admire and touch the new car, as well as explore the wide range of personalization options offered by the Ad Personam programme. Dedicated paints have been introduced into the already existing colour palette of the Urus, new dedicated range of 22” and 23” wheels in three different styles and multiple finishes are available, a new semi-slick track-oriented Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres have been developed and new interior colour combinations created – all to offer to the customers around the globe the maximum expressive freedom while configuring their Urus Performante.
The Super SUV Lamborghini Urus’ high-speed record set on the ice of Russia’s Lake Baikal during the Days of Speed in March 2021 has been formally registered by the RAF (Russian Automobile Federation), a member of the FIA (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile). Russian driver Andrey Leontyev, 18-time record holder of Days of Speed on Baikal Ice, shares his experience of setting the record.
