Italy PD leader Enrico Letta to step down after election defeat

Enrico Letta, former Prime Minister of Italy and leader of the Democratic Party (PD) announced that he will not lead the party in the next congress after admitting electoral defeat. France 24 talked to Brando Benifei, member of the European Parliament from the Democratic Party, about the election outcome.
