French singer-songwriter Canine releases luminous and combative sophomore album

Description

Performing under the moniker Canine, French singer-songwriter Magali Cotta mixes mystical orchestral pop with touches of hypnotic electro, a musical landscape driven by her androgynous voice. Three years after the release of her critically acclaimed debut album "Dune", Canine is back with a new LP, "Source". She tells FRANCE 24's Florence Villeminot what inspired her for this opus and why she surrounds herself with women performers.
