Tunis, Jan 18 (EFE).- A power struggle being waged between the head of state, the government and the president of the Parliament has opened the door for violence on the streets of Tunisia, where new restrictions -- in addition to those in place to fight the coronavirus pandemic -- have been introduced as the country marks the 10th anniversary of the fall of former dictator Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.
Trade unions insist the current regulations are necessary to protect workers. According to the Prime Minister the reforms are essential to lift Italy's economy out of a perpetual stillness.
