Man rescued from burning house in eastern Ukraine after Russian shelling

Description

Smoke and flames billow from a house on the outskirts of Bakhmut, eastern Ukraine, which was hit by a Russian shell during an intense artillery exchange near the eastern front line. A worker trapped inside the courtyard when the shell hit is rescued by emergency workers who make a hole in a steel fence using an axe. "I was in the barn and was going to go out. I heard a whistle. And I don’t remember anything. It exploded and I was thrown into the barn by explosion wave”, 51-year-old Roman tells AFP.
