Volodymyr Zelensky holds a meeting with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron as part of the Ukrainian president's surprise trip to the G7 summit in Hiroshima, his furthest foray abroad since Russia's invasion began 15 months ago. Zelensky thanks Macron for allied efforts to help secure long-sought access to advanced US F-16 fighter jets for Ukraine's war effort, among the most sophisticated equipment yet supplied by the West.
