London police say they have arrested a 22-year-old man after a seven-year-old girl was left fighting for her life following a shooting that took place as mourners left a church service. Gunshots rang out at the St Aloysius church in Euston, central London, on the afternoon of Saturday January 14 2023 as mourners were leaving a requiem mass for a mother and daughter. Tape cordons off a crime scene with officers on patrol at the scene of the incident after two police officers got stabbed in Leicester Square in London. The assailant was tasered and arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and assaulting an emergency worker, the Metropolitan Police said.
