Protests have rocked Iran since 22-year-old Kurdish woman Mahsa Amini died on September 16 after her arrest by the morality police in Tehran for allegedly failing to observe the Islamic republic's strict dress code for women. Several thousand people demonstrate in Paris in support of Iranian women. The protests follow the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Iranian woman arrested in Tehran for "wearing inappropriate clothing" by the morality police. She died three days later in the hospital. IMAGES
