US singer Meat Loaf, famous for his "Bat Out of Hell" rock anthem, has died aged 74, after a career in which he sold more than 100 million albums and appeared in scores of movies. "Our hearts are broken to announce that the incomparable Meat Loaf passed away tonight with his wife Deborah by his side," read a statement on his Facebook page early on Friday.
His amazing career spanned 6 decades that saw him sell over 100 Million albums worldwide and feature in over 65 movies.
Lewis Capaldi thinks Meat Loaf should play him in a biopic - without using technology to make the veteran rocker look younger.
