Illegal rafts sweep Brazilian Amazon river in search of gold

Description

Dozens of dredging boats manned by illegal miners are searching for gold in the Madeira River, one of the main rivers in the Brazilian Amazon, following rumours of a recent discovery of the mineral, the environmental organisation Greenpeace said.
