Lamborghini Squadra Corse presenta al Goodwood Festival of Speed la SC63, il prototipo ibrido di categoria LMDh, che dal 2024 gareggerà nella classe Hypercar del FIA World Endurance Championship, inclusa la 24 ore di Le Mans, e nella classe GTP dell’IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship Endurance Cup, che comprende classiche come la 24 Ore di Daytona e la 12 Ore di Sebring. Lamborghini ha scelto come partner il team Iron Lynx per schierare le vetture in gara, affidandole a piloti di primo piano, con esperienza in Formula 1 e nei principali campionati endurance.Il progetto LMDh rappresenta per Lamborghini l’ingresso a un nuovo concept di motorsport e si inserisce nella strategia Direzione Cor Tauri presentata nel 2021, il percorso di elettrificazione che sta portando l’azienda a ibridizzare l’intera gamma prodotto entro il 2024, incrementando performance ed emozioni di guida. Grazie alla SC63 questo approccio è stato applicato anche al programma motorsport, che rappresenta un nuovo pilastro del Manifesto Lamborghini: Driving Humans Beyond.
In the marque’s 60th anniversary year, Automobili Lamborghini presents Revuelto, the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). Revuelto defines a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness and driving pleasure from its unprecedented new architecture; innovative design; maximum-efficiency aerodynamics; and a new carbon frame concept. An output of 1015 CV is delivered from the combined power of an entirely new combustion engine together with three electric motors, alongside a double-clutch gearbox that makes its debut on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini for the first time.The powertrain combines high specific power elements: the new 127 CV/liter combustion engine works synergically with two front axial flux motors that deliver an outstanding weight-to-power ratio, with a radial flux electric motor positioned above the first eight-speed double-clutch gearbox debuting on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini. The three electric motors are powered by a lithium-ion high specific power (4500 W/kg) battery pack that also supports a fully-electric drive mode.

Mit einer kombinierten Höchstleistung von 814 PS (im Namen auf 800 abgerundet) aus Saugmotor (780 PS) und Elektromotor (34 PS) und dem permanenten Allradantrieb erreicht der LPI 800-4 Spitzenwerte wie eine Beschleunigung von 0 auf 100 km/h in nur 2,8 Sekunden, von 0 auf 200 km/h in 8,6 Sekunden und eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 355 km/h.
