ESA Director General hails Thomas Pesquet's mission as 'a huge success'

Four astronauts returned to Earth in a SpaceX craft after spending six months on the International Space Station. Thomas Pesquet, a French engineer from the European Space Agency (ESA), conducted thousands of experiments in orbit alongside NASA astronauts Megan McArthur and Shane Kimbrough, and Akihiko Hoshide of Japan. Joining Mark Owen on FRANCE 24, Josef Aschbacher, the ESA Director General, lauded the record-breaking mission and the performance of Pesquet. "He is a fantastic ambassador for space and for the European Space Agency," he said.

    Vienna, Sep 12 (EFE) .- The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, said Sunday in Vienna that the agreement reached with Iran is not a long-term solution.
