Thousands attend Chile's Pride Parade week ahead of elections

Description

Thousands gather in downtown Santiago for an LGBTQ+ rights march after a two-year suspension due to the pandemic. With just one week to go until the 2021 Chilean general election, demonstrators share their hopes for a more "inclusive, diverse and egalitarian country". "I come to fight for my rights as a citizen, that is why I am here, to demonstrate, to be present, with my partner," says one marcher.
