The Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles launches the New Multivan completely from scratch on the market. The technological leap is revolutionary. For the first time, the Multivan's propulsion and electronic systems are based on the transverse modular platform MQB. With the MQB Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles provides the Bulli with a new range of technical innovations. Never before has a Multivan been more flexible, networked and environmentally friendly. For the first time, a Plug-in Hybrid joins the engine range: the New Multivan eHybrid becomes a zero-emission vehicle for the city and, at the same time, masters long journeys to more distant destinations. A new stage of development of the most modern assistance systems, control operation and infotainment, also enriches comfort and safety and, for the first time, allows partially automated driving. The best Multivan of all time carries a special automotive lifestyle into the era of modernity. The Van combines the ingenious use of space and intelligent detail solutions with the iconic and captivating design DNA of the Bulli. The market launch will take place from the end of 2021.
The California by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is a statement, a motoring way of life: a full-value VW bus suitable for every day of the year, which can also be converted into a fully-equipped camper van for adventures of any kind from one minute to the next. It is this versatility that has made the California the world’s most successful camper van in its class. And now – after selling 260,000 units of this product line – Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is presenting a world premiere of the new California CONCEPT at the Caravan Salon trade fair in Düsseldorf. The show vehicle opens a window into the future of this iconic vehicle. It features state-of-the-art powertrains and the latest assist and infotainment systems as well as the next generation of camper van equipment. The California CONCEPT is based on the long version of the Multivan launched in 2021, which makes it larger than its predecessor, the California 6.1.
The ID.3 GTX stands out from all other models in the product line thanks to its individualised exterior design. The GTX-specific front bumper features a new independent black air intake in a diamond-style design and has new daytime running lights on the left and right. The black elements of the body have a high-gloss finish. This additionally applies to the newly designed side sills and the new lower area of the rear end with diffuser.Also new are the 20-inch Skagen alloy wheels fitted as standard. A host of GTX-specific features customise the vehicle interior. With their ergonomic design, premium sports seats (in fabric and leatherette) equipped as standard underline the sporty character of the most powerful ID.3 models. Another classic GTX design element: red decorative stitching on the seats and multifunction steering wheel. The high-quality cockpit surface is also GTX-specific. The more powerful ID.3 GTX Performance comes with DCC adaptive chassis control.
Fresh design, higher-quality materials and the latest-generation assist systems: that is the new ID.3. Two and a half years after the launch of the first generation, the all-electric bestseller from Volkswagen is now coming to the market with a comprehensive upgrade. In addition to the latest software, the compact electric car comes with a sharpened exterior and refined interior design. The range of colours has been extended by new colours, including Dark Olivine Green. High-quality, animal-free and sustainable materials reflect Volkswagen’s strategy for the all-electric ID. family.

And the new Volkswagen not only took first place in the Premium category, but also the overall competition. The winner was selected from all new vehicles presented over the past 12 months. Measuring almost five metres long and equipped with the best convenience features, the ID.7 is a Volkswagen positioned in the upper mid-size vehicle class. Here, it impresses with a new high-efficiency drive, long ranges, quick charging, generous space, a brand new high-tech interior concept and a high quality standard. The ID.7 will be launched around the world. It all starts in Europe: the new Volkswagen can already be ordered here as a 210 kW (286 PS)4 ID.7 Pro with a 77 kWh battery. A World-wide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) range of up to 6212 kilometres has been calculated for this model. Volkswagen plans to expand the product line’s portfolio further over the coming months. The launch version will be followed by ID.7 models with an even larger battery, a sporty GTX version with all- wheel drive, and an estate version, which will be called Tourer in the ID-7 product line.
