US Secretary of State Antony Blinken accuses China of "fuelling" Russia's invasion of Ukraine through the transfers of dual use materials and weapons components from Chinese businesses to Russia for use in Moscow's military expansion. "If China purports on the one hand to want good relations with Europe and other countries, it can't on the other hand be fuelling what is the biggest threat to European security since the end of the Cold War," Blinken tells a press conference after a meeting of G7 foreign ministers on the Italian island of Capri where he had urged urged his European counterparts to increase pressure on Beijing. G7 foreign ministers have pledged to "everything possible" to bolster Ukraine's air defences in the face of Russia's invasion following a meeting on the Italian island of Capri, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani says. "I repeat that we will do everything possible in order to help Ukraine and this from the point of view of its air defences as well," Tajani tells a press conference. SOUNDBITE
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says Ukraine has an "urgent, critical need for more air defence", at a G7 foreign ministers meeting on Capri. Ukraine has struggled on the battlefield for months, outgunned and outnumbered by Russian forces amid a shortage of Western military aid. SOUNDBITE

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken issues a dire warning that Ukraine's territorial gains against Russia are at risk without new aid approved by Congress.
