NGO launches campaign promoting LGBTI equality in Honduran elections

Tegucigalpa, Oct 15 (EFE).- Honduran NGO Center for Development and LGBTI Cooperation launched Friday a campaign to promote "free vote" and ensure that this community participates with equal opportunities, without discrimination, in the general elections on Nov. 28.The "Vote for Equality" campaign seeks to strengthen democracy and the rule of law through the participation of groups in vulnerable conditions, their recognition and respect for their human rights in the face of elections.
