Prince Andrew 'doesn't exist anymore' regardless of sexual assault civil suit outcome

Description

Marc Roche, Correspondent for Le Point, joins France 24 to explain how the sexual assault allegations are playing out in the court of public opinion back home in London. Once upon a time, Prince Andrew was one of the most popular members of the Royal Family. Following his disastrous BBC interview, "he can no longer represent the Queen anymore" and has been sidelined from public events and military ceremonies. As intense pressure continues from various Royal regiments, he also risks losing his honorary military roles. But the damage doesn't end there, warns Mr. Roche. The fallout is engulfing the entire Royal Family. Queen Elizabeth's historic Platinum Jubilee "and the preparations of the succession are all overshadowed by these sordid stories coming from New York."
