Stunning New Character Posters Revealed For Blade Runner 2049

Things are looking both bleak and hopeful in two new Blade Runner 2049 posters, teasing the return to Ridley Scott’s dystopian future. Based on the Philip K. Dick story Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Scott’s original film has become a cult classic and a defining moment in the cyberpunk genre of the ’80s and early-90s. The Twitter account for the upcoming Blade Runner 2049 has shared two new posters, teasing the stars of the film and the different worlds they’ll inhabit. The first poster came with the caption “You know his past. Discover his future.” In it, we’re teased with a return to the dystopian world of the first film and given a reintroduction to Rick Decker as played by Harrison Ford. The second poster teases that “A new civilization begins now” and shows a somewhat brighter future. It focuses on Ryan Gosling’s new protagonist and gives us a glimpse of a sleeker and cleaner future.
