Residents of Houston find refuge in a furniture store that is offering beds, blankets and even food after sweeping power outages. Owner Jim McIngvale, also known by the name "Mattress Mack" for his well-known Houston shops, previously opened his Gallery Furniture stores to people who fled Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Hurricane Harvey in 2017 and Tropical Storm Imelda in 2019. Severe storms lashed central and south Texas this weekend leaving behind damaged property, flooded neighborhoods and reports of at least six related deaths. Jillian Kitchener reports.
The second time within 6 months, flash floods, tornadoes, and heavy thunderstorms are putting Central Texas under water again on Friday.

Damages caused by the torrential rains which hit Spain, leaving ar least three people dead and three people reported missing. The weekend storm affected almost the whole country, with the heaviest rains recorded on Sunday in the coastal provinces of Cadiz, Tarragona and Castello, according to state weather office Aemet.
