Mercedes-Benz Presents Stunning Concept EQA Electric Car

Mercedes-Benz presented its Concept EQA small electric hatchback at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show on Tuesday. The Concept EQA is a compact all-electric hatchback, containing a flat battery pack under its cabin. Dual electric motors, one for each axle, produce a combined output of 200 kilowatts, equal to about 270 horsepower, and 368 pound-feet of torque, allowing the concept to jet from 0 to 60 in about 5 seconds.

The company envisions the vehicle, dubbed the Smart Vision EQ Fortwo, being used for car sharing in cities. People would be able to request an autonomous car pick via their smartphone and the vehicle would take them to their desired location.

  • Mercedes AMG Presents Concept at Geneva Motor Show

    Mercedes AMG officially unveiled its newest 600 bhp plus AMG GT concept car at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland on Tuesday. The new concept car is the brainchild of AMG top executive Tobias Moers and was created to celebrate Mercedes-AMG's 50th anniversary. The AMG concept features a four-door saloon design and a coupe-like roofline. Under the hood, the Mercedes-AMG GT packs a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine with an output of over 600 bhp. The engine is also expected to be paired with AMG's 7-speed transmission. The Mercedes-AMG GT will go head-to-head with a revered list of competition which includes the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe, the Porsche Panamera, and the Audi S7. The production version of the car is expected to hit the road in the latter half of 2018.

    Mercedes-Benz unveiled a brand new SUV concept, named the Generation EQ, at the Paris Motor Show on Thursday. The tech-savvy concept car takes futuristic driving to another level, making buttons and knobs a thing of the past as it swaps the entire dashboard with a touchscreen panel. Generation EQ is just the first of new Mercedes electric vehicles expected to hit the market, says the manufacturer. Although still in the concept stage, Mercedes expects to have 10 electric vehicles on the road by 2025, which will include everything from sedans to convertibles.

    La règle de base n'a pas changé, il faut rester chez soi. Cependant, Edouard Philippe a apporté un certain nombre de précisions sur les sorties dérogatoires.
