How did IT, a 30 year old Steven King, break box office records? The film was one of the most talked about and anticipated movie's of 2017. The trailer was one of the most watched of all time. Industry insiders predicted that the film would take in $40m-$50m opening weekend. Instead, the film bowed to $120million. In an essay for Red State, Brad Slager analyzes all the factors that went into making IT one of the surprise hits of the year.

    Shortly before its official world premiere at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, the All-New i30 Fastback N has already crossed the finishing line in Paris in a record-breaking road trip starting in Rome. The professional Hyundai Motorsport drivers Thierry Neuville and Gabriele Tarquini set a world record with the first five-door hot coupe in the C-segment but there was a twist….Neuville and Tarquini pushed the car to its limits – not by driving from the Italian to the French capital, but on the winding roads between Rome and Paris, located in western Denmark. Neuville, who is currently leading the WRC drivers’ championship, and motorsport legend Tarquini, with more than 25 years of racing experience, were the perfect team on this closed road as they showcased the power of the high-performance coupe in a short film.

  • Ice Age 3 Blu-ray and DVD; Guiness World Record Pavement Art time lapse and interview

    World famous street painter Edgar Muller today achieved a new Guinness World Record™, as he created the worlds biggest anamorhpic pavement art outside Westfield London. He beat his own world record by covering an area of 318 square metres with a jaw-dropping wintry scene inspired by the family film Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, celebrating its launch on Blu-ray and DVD today. The pavement art took six days to create and included the beloved Ice Age 3 characters Manny, Buck, Sid, Diego, Scrat and Scratte positioned over an icy crevasse. The image will remain at Westfield London for a further week, to enable Christmas shoppers to become part of the image by posing in the scene. Craig Glenday, Editor in Chief of Guinness World Records was on hand to verify the new world record, and commented: "Guinness World Records has been monitoring the fantastic work of Edgar Mueller for some time now, and we're thrilled to be so closely involved with his latest record-breaking creation.     The new F-PACE SVR is available exclusively with Jaguar’s 550PS 5.0-litre V8 Supercharged petrol engine, now with 700Nm torque – an increase of 20Nm. This uplift in torque delivers enhanced performance, with the F-PACE SVR capable of 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.0 seconds), three-tenths of a second faster than before, and a top speed of 178mph (286km/h), an increase of 2mph. The powertrain now features the same torque converter used in the record-breaking Jaguar XE SV Project 8 sedan, to withstand the higher loads produced.
