Original 1939 Alcoholics Anonymous Manuscript Could Sell for $3 Million

Description

The original manuscript of Alcoholics Anonymous, first published in 1939, will go up for auction in California on June 8, and is currently being displayed at the Questroyal Fine Art gallery in Manhattan, New York City. The "Big Book" as it is known by AA members contains annotations and revisions made by Alcoholics Anonymous' author William Griffith Wilson. The 12-step program designed to end addiction to alcohol has sold more than 30 million copies and is considered to be one of the most influential books of the twentieth century.
