"Broad City" Has Its Own Line Of Sex Toys

Description

Broad City has teamed up with Lovehoney to create a new line of sex toys. The collection includes eight different vibrators including one that's lipstick-shaped, referencing one Ilana wore on the show and another that has the show's slogan "Yas Kween" emblazoned across it. The toys range in price from $12.99 to $89.99. Lovehoney says they hope the new line will encourage the show's audience "to be more adventurous in the bedroom."

  • "Broad City" Sex Toys Now Available From Lovehoney

Fans of Comedy Central's "Broad City," the hit cable series created by and starring Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, can now experience an intimate connection with the program. The show has partnered with sex toy retailer Lovehoney to release a line of 14 new sex toys, many of which reference the show. These include a so-called "pegging kit" called the "pegasus," a lipstick toy in a mint green shade worn by Ilana on the show and the "nature's pocket" kegel balls. According to Lovehoney co-founder Neal Slateford during an interview with ELLE.com, while the company has partnered with bands like Motley Crue and the film "Fifty Shades of Grey," this is the first time a TV show has released such a line. But, given the show's subject matter, it makes sense. According to Slateford, "what Broad City does so well is normalize a range of sexual experiences." Which means we may be seeing more branded sex toys in the future. "Broad City"'s fourth season is scheduled to premiere September 13th, 2017.

  • 'Broad City' Celebrates Marriage Equality by Flashing

Broad City is honoring the legalization of same-sex marriage in the most Broad City way — infectious laughter and flashing? The show's creators and stars, Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, made a video with Paul Downs, who plays Abbi's boss at the fancy gym where she cleans toilets. The trio joyfully flash their rainbow pride, because they are nothing if not masters of creative nudity. And then they let Kool & the Gang take over, because that is the official best way to kick off any party. Sing "It's up to you, what's your pleasure?" as an anthem of freedom tonight and "celebrate good times, come on!"
