Joel Schumacher Debunks Classic Patrick Stewart As Mr. Freeze Rumor

Recently comic book super hero's Batman and Robin celebrated their 20th Anniversary. The cast and crew reminisced on the DC comics past films and Joel Schumacher even debunked rumors surrounding who was almost cast as the antagonist Mr. Freeze. As you know Arnold Schwarzenegger ended up taking on the role however early reports tapped Patrick Stewart for the part. According to Schumacher that isn't entirely how it went down, in a recent interview he said "Stewart was never officially up for consideration - and that the role was expected to go to Schwarzenegger."
