Brad Pitt & Tommy Lee Jones Are Teaming Up For "Ad Astra"

Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones will star in the epic scifi film "Ad Astra." Pitt will play Roy McBridge, a space engineer who's in search of his father who went missing during a one-way mission to Neptune 20 years ago. Jones is expected to play the father gone missing. This will be Pitt's third time working with director James Gray. It will be Pitt's first time in 22 years working in the scifi genre. The last scifi film he appeared in was critically the acclaimed time travel movie Twelve Monkeys, which earned him his first Academy Award nomination.
