Activists Call Out In-N-Out Burger On Antibiotics Use

Description

On Thursday, consumer, environmental, and public health groups, have pressed In-N-Out Burger to make a vow in setting a timeline for the discontinuation of using beef raised with antibiotics. Around 70 percent of antibiotics needed to fight infections in humans are sold for use in meat and dairy production. Medical researchers have said that the use of these drugs may wear out its effectiveness in fighting human diseases These antibiotic-resistant bacteria are often referred to as "superbugs." Many popular restaurant chains, such as McDonalds and Subway, have already joined the fight against superbugs to restrain on the use of important human antibiotics.
