Warren Buffet Charity Lunch Auction Reaches $1 Million

An auction that will grant the winner lunch with billionaire investor Warren Buffett in support of a San Francisco charity that helps the homeless and impoverished, has reached $1 million. Bids for the auction, which is being held on eBay, reportedly concludes on Friday this week at 10:30 p.m. In 17 years of similar auctions, Buffet has raised over $23 million for the charity Glide, which provides free meals, emergency shelter, HIV and Hepatitis C tests. It also provides day care and after school programs for over 450 children.
