Unfortunately for the Republicans, their lineup of stars (other than Donald Trump and his children) for the Republican National Convention speeches was lackluster and bolstering mostly B-rated stars and Duck Dynasty TV personalities. The Democratic national Convention was where the A-list celebrity action was this week with stars such as Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria, Lady Gaga, Sarah Silverman, Chloe Grace Moretz and Lena Dunham all making an appearance and doing whatever they can to endorse Hillary Clinton.
Kanye and Kim Kardashian West went into Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram War mode with Taylor Swift over a song as Kim posted a video of a private conversation. Other celebs got into the action as Selena Gomez, Chloe Grace Moretz and Ruby Rose defended their girl Taylor as Zendaya and Demi Lovato came into the fray on the Kimye side. Just another day in the Socialebrity wars in Hollywood. Yes, we know it is a bunch of nonsense, but it's fun to watch nonetheless.
The biggest names in music hit Vegas for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards and 'The Weeknd' was the big hit. But he wasn't the only one there as the event also included Madonna and Stevie Wonder giving a tribute to 'Prince' in addition to such stars as Ariana Grande, Ashton Kutcher, Britney Spears, Chris Tucker, Ciara, Celine Dion, DJ Khaled, DNCE, Demi Lovato, Jessica Alba, Kate Beckinsale, Kelly Rowland, Ludacris, Michael Strahan, Mila Kunis, Nick Jonas, Rihanna, Russell Wilson, Zendaya Coleman and much more. Demi Lovato, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa all absolutely rocked the house at AOL NewFronts 2016 over the top block party and more. The event was named "AOL Access: A New Kind of NewFront" and it was meant to wow and it did. Not to mention top stars like Colin Farrell who introduced the new 'AOL Build' studio with AOL's NewFront event talking about the romantic sci-fi drama 'The Lobster' at the South Street Seaport in New York City with Director Yorgos Lanthimos and Ariane Labed. Absolutely check it out.
Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato looked sexy together as they arrived for the 27th annual GlAAD Media Awards. Other stars and major advocates of the GLAAD movement included Derek Hough, Lea Michele, Lilly Wachowski, Patricia Arquette, Paula Abdul and Zendaya Coleman.
