Upcoming Fallout Sequel Allows Players to Customize Game World

Description

If "war never changes," as actor Ron Perlman's oft-repeated Fallout tagline states, then how do you explain Fallout 4? Bethesda Softworks' latest open world adventure embraces change on a foundational level, empowering players to reshape the landscape in a variety of ways. Part of that is a product of new creation tools inside the game, which give everyone an opportunity to carve out a personal space in Fallout 4's sprawling world. During Bethesda's E3 2015 press conference, game director Todd Howard said Fallout 4 allows players to build elaborate bases for themselves — complete with furniture, adornments and powered devices like defensive turrets — using an in-game interface. Construction is limited to specific locations, but the feature reshapes what it means to scavenge in the game's world.
