3 Tips To See The Boston Marathon Like A Pro

But, in Boston, Marathon Monday, April 20th, is a city holiday and people start celebrating early, as there’s not only a race, but a Boston Red Sox game that starts at 11 a.m. To take advantage of this special day in Boston here are 3 suggestions for Marathon Monday. One of the best sites to see the runners is about a mile from the finish line on Boylston Street. A downhill grade helps runners in the final kick and it's also where runners get their first glance at the finish line. Want to see more of the city?
