    The world’s largest plate of nachos was presented at an event called ‘Noche of Nachos’, organised with the city of La Cruces and New Mexico Department of Agriculture.     This is Maximo Gomez Hernandez, a Nicaraguan man who claims to be 117 years old. Maximo's Nicaraguan ID reports his date of birth as May 7, 1900, giving the elderly man claim to the title of world's oldest living man. If his birth date is confirmed, it would make him three years older than Yisrael Kristal, born 15 September 1903, currently named by the Guinness World Records as the world's oldest living male.
