Halloween Event Boosts Revenue for Pokemon Go

Description

Pokemon Go received a huge boost thanks to a Halloween-themed update as revenue for the mobile game is reportedly up over 2.3 times compared to the week before the event started. Daily revenue for Pokemon Go on October 29 was also at its highest level since the first week of September. The Halloween event ran from October 26 and ended today, November 1. During that time, the event earned the game's creator Niantic $23.3 million. That number is almost double the revenue for the game compared to a week before from October 18 to 22, in which Pokemon Go brought in $10 million.
