Man's Best Friend Is Helping To Decrease Security Wait At Airports

Description

The dog is man's best friend and they may also be the air traveller's best friend too. Dogs trained to sniff explosives and other contraband are helping to reduce the wait times to pass security checks at airports. The bad news is, there are not enough of the canines to go around. There are currently about 1000 dogs on duty, doing their best to keep passengers safe in the United States. The law enforcement animals typically work for about 8 years before they retire.
