Iman Talks David Bowie For The First Time Since His Passing

Description

Supermodel Iman has stayed away from the media since her longtime lover David Bowie passed away from liver cancer in January at the age of 69. The 61-year-old HSN fashion designer opened up to Good Morning America’s Joe Zee about losing her husband and then her mother less than three months later. “It’s been a tough year, but I’m holding up,” she said. Iman showed Zee a gold necklace she was wearing in Bowie’s honor. “I’m wearing this until my death. [Fashion designer] Hedi Slimane made it for me,” she said. “It just says ‘David.’” When Zee remarked that Iman is a “survivor,” she said, “Not as much as you think.”
