"Wonder Woman 1984" earned $16.7 million at the US box office over the weekend. Business Insider reports that's the biggest opening weekend since the coronavirus pandemic began. The pre-pandemic "Wonder Woman" from 2017 grossed $103 million in the US in its debut.
