Olympian Gabby Douglas Misses VMAs Due To "Medical Issues"

The Olympic Final Five looked like the final four on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards. Missing from the gold-winning team was Gabby Douglas. Douglas reportedly missed the show because she was in the hospital recovering from an infected mouth injury. Simone Biles, Madison Kocian, Aly Raisman and Laurie Hernandez presented the award for best female video to Beyonce. But they made sure to send a shout-out to Gabby. According to her instagram, she was sad she missed out, but was happy to be feeling better.
