North Korea's recent nuclear tests have reportedly triggered a major increase in global demand for nuclear bomb shelters. North Korea announced its fifth successful nuclear test on Friday morning, stating that it is now able to mount nuclear warheads on ballistic rockets. The announcement came after a large seismic event was identified at the country's nuclear test site. The US Geological Survey (USGS) detected a powerful explosion measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale at the site, igniting reports of the nuclear test, believed to be the country's most powerful yet.
The Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organisation says seismic activity produced by a suspected North Korean nuclear test is larger than an earthquake triggered by a nuclear test in the same area in January. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
