If I knew everything, I would get bored. I still enjoy doing this. The word happiness scares me a bit. I was very happy here and this is the second time I'm back since I received the scholarship. • Restoration of 'La Virgen de la leche' by Murillo in Rome

Rome, May 18 (EFE) .- (Camera: Álvaro Padilla) The painting "La Virgen de la leche", by the Sevillian painter Bartolomé Esteban Murillo (1618-1682), has returned to the National Gallery of Ancient Art in Rome, loaded with "historical and technical discoveries" after its restoration, the museum's curator, Alessandro Cosma, assured Efe on Tuesday.FOOTAGE OF THE PAINTING AFTER ITS RESTORATION IN THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF ANCIENT ART IN ROMESOUNDBITES BY THE MUSEUM CURATOR, ALESSANDRO COSMA AND THE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RESTAURANT WORKSHOP GALLERY, CHIARA MERUCCI. TRANSLATION: 1- "We have discovered so many things about its history; it entered the Corsini Gallery very soon, donated by the secretary of Cardinal Neri Maria Corsini (1685-1770), closely linked to the Spanish. Perhaps this is the reason why it had this painting at home, he donates it to the Cardinal and he is so impressed and dazzled that he chose to place it in front of the bed, as the first sign of the strength with which this painting would impress museum visitors. " 2- "The important issue is the advanced state of completion, for now we do not know and perhaps we will never know what happened, why a Saint Francis had started and then decided to paint a Virgin with the Child, surely something had to happen change linked to need ". 3- "Between the two faces of Mary and the Child is the face of Saint Francis, the eyes, the nose, the ear are well visible. The figure is well outlined, with a book in one hand and probably genuflecting. Some brushstrokes on the head of the saint, which could well be the rays that frequently accompany the iconography of Saint Francis, but this is a hypothesis ".
