Venezuela's Opposition to President Maduro Hits Snag

Description

Opposition against Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro has hit snags in the South American country. One the same day, the national election board delayed a decision for the next stage in a referendum vote, while protest organizers failed to draw in large crowds. The Democratic Unity coalition is running out of avenues to force a new election. If Maduro loses the potential referendum vote, the vice president would take over the government for the remainder of his six-year term.
