La réalisatrice et musicienne Katia deVidas, qui est également la compagne de Peter Doherty a tourné plus de 200 heures de rush de l'artiste, sur une période de 10 ans. Ce matériel, brut et intime a servi de base à ce film de 90 minutes, qui documente la descente aux enfers du chanteur et songwriter des Libertines, alors même que sa popularité atteignait des sommets. Avec les mots et les émotions propres à l'artiste, nous découvrons ensuite le combat du chanteur pour vaincre ses démons.
