Which Celebs Do Not Approve of Plastic Surgery?

Description

While it may be common place in Hollywood for a star to go under the knife for a little nip and tuck, there are still many celebrities who speak out against plastic surgery and other cosmetic procedures. 47-year-old Jennifer Aniston doesn't believe in Botox, but she did get a nose job when she was younger. In 2012 actress Drew Barrymore told InStyle magazine, "I say, don't fight the rings on the trunk of a tree. Just keep counting 'em." Meryl Streep also said, "You have to embrace getting older," and Jodie Foster has said that plastic surgery just isn't her "thing," but doesn't have anything against it for other people." And Kate Winslet has sai she "will never give in. "I am an actress, I don't want to freeze the expression of my face," she said.

According to Allure, interest in plastic surgery is skyrocketing. DiAnne Davis, a board-certified dermatologist in Dallas said, "When we opened back up in May, people were beating down the doors to get in." The doctors believe that there are a number of reasons why demand is so high amid the pandemic. -Plastic surgery historically peaks during vacation season, when people are out of work. Because a lot more people are working from home, this has may have an impact. They also point to stress during the COVID crisis playing a role. Jessica Weiser, a board-certified dermatologist in New York City said, "No one has ever really looked at themselves in this way — for this long or this frequently — and I think that's driving a lot of the demand."
