A driverless Uber truck loaded with 50,000 cans of Budweiser beer made a 120-mile journey across Colorado last week in the first commercial shipment by a self-driving truck.
Uber and Anheuser-Busch say a driverless truck hauled 45,000 cans of Budweiser beer across Colorado, in a test of real-world commercial use of autonomous trucking. Gavino Garay reports.

The available i-FORCE MAX hybrid is a showstopper, producing up to 326 horsepower and a massive 465 lb.-ft. of torque, the most torque in the mid-size truck segment.The all-new 2024 i-FORCE Tacomas are expected to arrive at Toyota dealerships in December of 2023, with i-FORCE MAX models expected to arrive in the spring of 2024. Tacoma offers superior performance at an incredible value with a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of just $31,500. MSRP for i-FORCE MAX models will be announced closer to the on-sale date.

Daimler Truck is speeding up the electrification of its vehicle fleet: the Mercedes-Benz eEconic for municipal use is going into series production at the Wörth site in southern Rhineland-Palatinate. After the start of series production of the eActros for urban distribution transport in October 2021, the second model of the battery-electric Mercedes-Benz truck will roll off the production line in Wörth within a short time. The eEconic was developed together with customers and has been undergoing practical tests with customers since May 2022 following an intensive series of tests. The first series-produced vehicle goes to Urbaser A/S, a company active in the disposal sector in Denmark. Other customers have already opted for the series eEconic. The vehicles are to be delivered successively over the course of the year.
