Iran has agreed to reconnect surveillance cameras at several nuclear sites and increase the pace of inspections, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency says. "There was a reduction in monitoring activities related to cameras and monitoring systems," Rafael Grossi tells reporters at Vienna airport after returning from Tehran. Iran is removing 27 surveillance cameras at nuclear facilities, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) head Rafael Grossi says, calling it a "serious challenge" to the agency's work in the country. SOUNDBITE
During a press conference, the IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi shows the type of that the UN watchdog is using for monitoring Iran's nuclear program. Tehran and the Vienna-based IAEA announced earlier this week that they had reached agreement on replacing the cameras at a facility which makes centrifuges, after they were reportedly damaged in a June attack Tehran blames on Israel. But the IAEA will not be able to examine the camera images until after sanctions are lifted, an Iranian official has said. IMAGES
