Hundreds of lanterns take flight at Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival

The Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival is one of the most well-known tourist attractions in Taiwan. In an effort to boost tourism in the area, the New Taipei City Government holds another sky lantern celebration during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Lanterns are set off into the sky as symbols of peace and good fortune.
