Mitch McConnell Calls for Roy Moore to Step Aside

On Monday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters that he believes the women who have accused Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore of making sexual advances on them back in the 1970s when they were underage. In Louisville, McConnell said of Moore, "I think he should step aside. I believe the women, yes.” According to POLITICO, GOP officials are looking at supporting a write-in candidate for the upcoming Senate election next month. McConnell added in a news conference Monday, "That’s an option we’re looking at, whether or not there is someone who can mount a write-in campaign successfully."
