Facebook's New Messenger App for Kids Under 13

Description

Facebook has a new messenger app, specifically for kids under 13. The company rolled out "Messenger Kids" on Monday, allowing kids under 13 access to the platform for the first time. The app allows parents total control and requires parents to set up an account and approve their children’s contacts. The stand-alone app can then be downloaded to a child's device, allowing them to use video chat and send photos, videos or text messages to friends approved by their parents.
