Dolly Parton wants to remain ageless. That's what she told Oprah Winfrey in a chat via CNN. The legendary singer recently appeared on "The Oprah Conversation." Oprah asked Dolly if she thinks about "the number" as she hits different milestones in her life. "I ain't never gonna be old because I ain't got time to be old." Parton quipped that she's fine with a little anti-aging assistance. "I'm gonna look like a cartoon. I'll have on the makeup. I'll look as young as my plastic surgeons will allow me."
Oprah Winfrey and former President Barack Obama sat down on Wednesday to talk about his upcoming memoir, "A Promised Land." The interview will be made available for free and debut on Tuesday, Nov. 17 on Apple TV+. According to CNN, the book will be released the same day. Winfrey said in a statement; "This book was worth the wait". "There's no feeling like finishing a book, and I'm proud of this one," Obama wrote in a September tweet. The nearly 800-page book, published by Crown, will be issued in 25 languages.
Queen guitarist Brian May has said he is "grateful" to be alive. The rock icon suffered a heart attack, a stomach hemorrhage and other health complications this year. In May, the musician revealed that he suffered from a heart attack that he believed he "could have died" from. According to CNN, May was taken to the hospital, where he had three blocked arteries. He said he was treated by medics as an "emergency case," and opted to have three stents put in. On Tuesday, the musician told television show Good Morning Britain he was grateful to be alive.
