AT&T Names First Three U.S. Cities for 5G Service

AT&T has revealed that the first three cities in the U.S. to receive its 5G service will be Dallas and Waco, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia. Last month, the service said it intends to be the first major network to roll out the new 5G standard in the United States, starting in late 2018. Melissa Arnoldi, president of AT&T technology and operations, said in a statement, "5G will change the way we live, work and enjoy entertainment. With faster speeds and ultra-low latency, 5G will ultimately deliver and enhance experiences like virtual reality, future driverless cars, immersive 4K video, and more.”
