Even Computers Can't Believe Arctic Temps Are Rising As Fast As They Are

A weather station in America’s northernmost city of Utqiaġvik has been quietly collecting temperature data since the 1920s. But according to the Huffington Post, climate experts were missing data from Utqiaġvik for all of 2017, and some of 2016. It turns out the temperatures recorded at Utqiaġvik over that time were warmer than had ever seen before. With such rapidly climbing temperatures, the weather station "thought" it was broken--and the data faulty.
