Scott Olson Retailers Announces Over 8,000 Store Closures In 2017

Description

Scott Olson Retailers are closing thousands of stores following years of declines in sales and customer traffic. But a tough physical retail environment stemming from steeper online competition is also being blamed. A list of 8,053 closures were announced in 2017. Store locations closing include: Sears, Kmart, Target, JCPenney, Macy's, and Gymboree.
